The Jerusalem Yellow Submarine’s Non Standard Project has been operating for over a decade introducing original jazz creations based on inspiring musical matches. Leading Israeli and international artists have been carefully selected for each production of this series to receive a new and original outfit, a stunning custom-made jazzy musical interpretation.
Now, for the first time in the history of the Non Standard Project, a new collection album is on the way featuring highlight tracks from various recently produced exciting collaborations with musicians from Israel and abroad.
This unique project has already become known and appreciated among jazz fans and frequent guests of the Red Sea Jazz Festival in recent years. However, this summer’s special production marking the release of the Non Standard Project collection album brings to the stage a grand musical display like never before.
This especially festive show features a great ensemble led by musical director Tomer Bar reviewing noted past collaborations with guest artists Alon Oleartchik, Shlomo Gronich, Yoni Rechter and Shlomi Shaban and introducing a first time collaboration with Israeli singer-songwriter Rona Kenan.
