The 8th winter Red Sea Jazz Festival presents A fantastic artistic program and a fabulous lineup.
Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the Red Sea Jazz Festival has become a tradition, highlighting the great talents of worldwide jazz. This winter in Eilat featuring three days of fantastic vibe and excellent music with jazz performances from Israel and around the world.
This year’s winter Red Sea Jazz Festival featured artists include: acclaimed Colombian harp player, Edmar Castaneda, in a duo performance with Italian clarinet player, Gabriel Mirabassi; the Non Standard Project featuring Shlomi Shaban; Berry Sakharof with pianist Omri Mor and percussionist Itamar Doari in a special festival premiere performance; famous double bass player, Garcia-Fons, in a trio performance; Israeli piano virtuoso from Paris, Yaron Herman; Cuban vocalist and violinist Yilian Cañizares; Swiss vocalist Andreas Schaerer with Austrian guitarist and trumpeter, Peter Rom and Martin Eberle, combining Beatbox and jazz in a performance that has captivated audiences around the globe; VEIN, the Swiss piano trio with guest artist world-known saxophonist, Amit Friedman; Brazilian harmonica player, Gabriel Grossi, with Israeli guitarist Marcelo Nami and percussionist, Joca Perpignan; Israeli indie folk band, Angelcy; saxophonist Lihi Haruvi; and drummer and composer, Yogev Shetrit, in a trio performance of Israeli fusion Ethno Jazz.
The Winter Red Sea Jazz Festival’s artistic director Dubi Lenz, a veteran radio persona and international expert on world music, has served as head of the music department of Galei Zahal IDF radio station for 15 years. The host of 88FM Not Just Jazz radio program in recent years, this year he is back with Galei Zahal as host of the late night All That Jazz program.
For this upcoming festival, Lenz has selected a remarkable lineup prompting special collaborations and combining diverse influences and styles with world jazz giants playing alongside Israeli musicians and artists. Israeli and international ensembles are expected this year at the winter Red Sea Jazz Festival featuring three days of a great jazz music experience.
The successful collaboration continues with winter RSJF master classes held at the Mike’s Place Bar on the King Solomon Promenade.

The Red Sea Jazz Festival notable Jam session tradition continues inviting the public to jam with festival guest artists on Thursday and Friday nights at the Mike’s Place Bar. The designated meeting place for visitors of the winter Red Sea Jazz Festival, Mike’s Place Bar is hosting the festival open stage featuring various jazz ensembles every afternoon and during scheduled program breaks.
